The Holocaust
Frank, Manfred and Ivor witnessed one of the darkest periods of the past century. Their families were among the millions sent to labor and concentration camps during the Holocaust. A lifetime later, their childhood memories of the camps remain vivid.
This project was produced by Zoe Todd and Michelle Mizner. Illustrations by Éléonore Goldberg. Animations by Miles Alvord, designed by Dan Nolan, and built by Anthony DeLorenzo. Reporting by Zoe Todd, FRONTLINE’s Abrams Journalism Fellow. Interviews drawn from The Last Survivors directed by Arthur Cary. FRONTLINE worked with the survivors to illustrate these memories with historical accuracy and detail.
