(upbeat music) - I think a good match for Tristan is someone who will, you know, always laugh at his jokes, not roll her eyes.
- Well, Mrs. Hall adores Tris, so she's gotta be amazing.
(laughing) - Tristan would need somebody who made him laugh.
That's the most important thing.
- Somebody who doesn't mind him sort of always smelling like dogs or various farmyard animals.
I think she needs to accept all of that.
- And obviously they would be attractive and he would fancy them.
- Someone who doesn't mind going to the pub for an extended number of hours.
- Most of all, they've gotta share his sense of humor.
- Tris needs someone who's really fun.
He's got a good sense of humor, he's cheeky, he's irreverent, so I think he needs someone who's gonna be his match on that front.
- Laughter is so much part of the way he sees the world and deals with the world and gets through the world, you know, the difficulty of things he's seen.
- I think coming back from the war, he's had a tough time.
So I think he's gonna need someone who can be understanding about that and very kind.
- He needs somebody who's understanding.
And you know what they say?
Nobody needs loving for their good bits.
That's easy.
Anyone who takes Tristan on is taking on a complicated person.
- I think he wants his match, you know, in like sort of wits, like wise to be met.
He wants someone who he can bounce and joke around with, absolutely.
- I think that's what Mrs.
Hall would like to see is see him go and have some fun (laughing) with someone.
- And probably someone who's as or nearly as snappy a dresser as he is.
Yeah, need to have good fashion sense for Tristan.
