short | 02:58 | CC
From humorous to tender moments, reflect on some of the best Siegfried and Mrs. Hall scenes in the series so far.
- Oh, you really are the most ridiculous creature.
- I hope you're referring to the dog.
Jacket?
- You're wearing it.
- Job list?
- Pocket.
- [Siegfried] Mrs.
Hall?
Mrs.
Hall?
Oh, it doesn't matter.
Found it.
- (sighs) Whenever you want to waste my time, feel free to holler.
- I should have known better than to trust him.
- [Mrs.
Hall] And why might that be?
- If you have a point, Mrs.
Hall, I'd rather you've got on and stabbed me with it.
- I had a very strange phone call this morning.
- Given our clientele, I can't imagine that's a unique occurrence.
- It were the dean of Edinburgh Veterinary College.
- Ah.
Where was that thing I was after?
- Siegfried Donald Farnon.
- All right, I did it.
- You're both as bad as each other.
Good luck, Tristan.
- Doesn't need luck, he just needs to concentrate.
- He'll be fine.
- Of course he will.
- [Mrs.
Hall] Perks of being in charge.
- Mrs.
Hall you have a tone.
- Oh.
- The sort of tone that tells me I'm to be informed of my failings in the not too distant future.
- [Mrs.
Hall] Oh, it's not my place to tell you anything.
- [Siegfried] Jolly good.
- Well, I might suggest.
- Here we go.
- Turn that bloody light off.
Mrs.
Hall I think I dying.
- You spend your life giving out medicine.
It's time for you to take some.
(Siegfried groans) To bed.
- [Siegfried] Has something happened?
- What makes you think that?
- Your scale of culinary endeavor suggests you're trying to keep your mind occupied.
- You're a good man Siegfried Farnon.
No matter how much you try to hide it.
- Yes, well, keep it to yourself.
Don't want people thinking I've gone soft.
- But I couldn't stand the thought of you disapproving of me.
- Oh, Mrs.
Hall.
I don't think I ever could.
Of course I had no real choice about offering you the job.
- What, no one else could put up with ya?
- Exactly.
(tender music) You look different.
I, I better.
- I better get my sausage rolls in the oven.
- If I've taken you for granted over the years.
- No, you haven't.
And I don't look too daft?
(laughs) - Not in the least.
You look very smart.
- [Mrs.
Hall] Mr.
Farnon, I need your help.
- [Siegfried] It's all right.
It's all right.
I don't think any of us know quite how to express our gratitude to you, Mrs.
Hall.
- The practice is a state.
We're really struggling without Mrs.
H.
- The old goats lost his marbles, he needs help.
We wouldn't ask if it weren't desperate.
- She left us.
What was I supposed to do?
Pretend to be happy.
I drove her away.
- There's still time.
Audrey.
No one could ever work because they're not you.
I understand you might have to live your life.
If that's not here with us, well, that's up to you but you should know that we would like it to be.
So what do you say?
- To?
What on earth's got into everyone?
- (chuckles) Thanks.
Thanks.
- Oh that?
The war's ended.
- What?
It's over?
(uplifting music) - [Siegfried] Shall we?
