(upbeat music) - [Robson] Season 7 "Grantchester."
- Testament to everyone that makes it, I've never done a season 7 of anything.
Never crossed my mind when I started this show that we'd ever get to a season 7 and here we are, and it's still as enjoyable as ever.
- Working on "Grantchester" is the best job I've ever worked on.
The best thing I've ever done in my life.
- I cannot think of a bad day on this series.
I wake up and enjoy waking up and look forward to coming on the set of "Grantchester."
- It's the biggest gift for me.
I think Leonard has gone through such a huge change, and it's an honor to play him.
- Over the years, it's fantastic to develop her as a character.
- We all get on very well, it's a fantastic team from the very top of the execs downwards to Robson leading the way.
- The first day Robson comes in he's literally like, "Welcome, like this is gonna be fun, you are gonna love it."
And getting that welcome, I remember it so vividly because I thought, oh great, like that's it, this is gonna be good.
- It's a fantastic thing to be able to come back to again and again for my own six years now, it's wonderful to be a part of.
- The love and the fun and the nurturing of actors on set is gorgeous.
And I just thank my lucky stars that I get to be part of it because it's wonderful.
- It's very rare to work on a show where you think right from the beginning, we've really got something here.
- I remember the first time I read the first book, it felt like characters I wanted to be with, the world I wanted to be in.
And then we came on a sort of visit to Grantchester and we cycled across the meadows and we kind of came to the church and looked around, and it was just, it felt perfect in a way.
It felt like it was all there waiting for us to explore.
- It is still as joyous and wondrous and beautiful today as it was when I first started all those years back.
