- "Grantchester" is known in the British film and television industry for being a lovely, lovely place to work. You know, it really does come from the top. So, you know, Robson, Emma, and Daisy have made this a really wonderful thing to make and a really wonderful thing to watch, so we've been very, very lucky.
- It's a strange feeling today and there's been a few tears.
- There have been tears.
- [Emma] Yeah. I think there'll be more tears later.
- The experience is unique. People refer to it as their happy place. And I get that. I totally get that. This is the end of "Grantchester." This is the end of this show, so to bring it home was very important to me. The affection I have for the show, for everyone involved in it meant I was very keen to to bring it home.
- All the villages in "Grantchester," everyone like. Oh God, I'm going to go.
- As you say, like the villages, the "Grantchester" villages have been great. This series, Robson did a firework display to say thank you, but they've always been so generous to us.
- [Director] And action.
- [Robson] I've done over 1000 hours of television, be it documentaries, be it drama, be it films for TV. This is like nothing else.
- That's Robson, Rishi, Tessa, Kasey, and Nick's last shot.
- My goodness, the end of a era. And I always said if I was to leave this show, they would have to wheel me out on a trolley. This has been 11 years of absolute joy, and it is a gift. And it is a gift that has kept on giving for the last 11 years. 11 years in this wonderful family who care about this show, who love this show. And we've been here since day one. Al. It's been wonderful, and we created memories over the last 11 years that we shall cherish forever, so thank you and goodnight.
