- Will and Geordie.
At the beginning of the series, they're the best of friends.
They're family really.
- We're doing this again?
- I think we should make it a yearly event.
- But Geordie will be faced with his past.
And through that, we will test Will and Geordie's relationship.
- Geordie is a realist, Will is an idealist.
- I can't do that Geordie, it goes against everything I believe in.
- You tell the truth and he's done for.
- Will imagines the world how it should be, and always sees the good in people.
- We are the helpers.
Every minute of every hour of every day, it is our duty to help.
- Will, however much he appreciates Geordie, he can never understand what he went through during the war.
He's essentially lived quite a naive lifestyle because men like Geordie fought in a war.
- I think you used your posh school and your privilege to buy your way out of doing your duty.
- That's kind of the rub between them really, can Will ever understand Geordie?
- So that's a really nice way to bring our characters together.
Of course, through that, Geordie's seeking help because of this terrible secret that just comes to the surface, and the only person he can talk to and turn to is of course the man he loves in his life and that's Will.
