(gentle music) (birds chirping) - "Grantchester" has taken up about a fifth of my life.
It is a happy place.
When you're doing "Grantchester" it does fly over because you're having such a good time.
There's been many jobs during my career where I've just clock watched, calendar watched, but not with "Grantchester."
It's such a wonderful working environment.
And there is not one negative energy on set.
I mean, Tom can be a bit of a nightmare.
It's always a joy.
And sometimes if I question, "Goodness, I'm in Series H, shouldn't I be doing other series?"
I'm reminded how wonderful this is.
I'm not ready to go.
I've still got a lot to give.
If I ever have kind of bad days, they're immediately quashed by how lovely it is to be on this set.
If I ever leave "Grantchester" I know I will miss it every hour of every day.
