- Favorite scene for me would have to be one that I was most anxious about filming, but felt so deeply proud of once we had finished.
It's that moment of confrontation between the three of us, Javert, Jean Valjean, and myself.
Monsieur Le Maire.
(groans) (mouth spits) I just remember thinking that's the climax of Fantine's character for us.
It's the height of her demise, it's this epic scene that you just have to feel empathy for as an audience member.
I was nervous going into it because, you know, no pressure.
But I was also really excited to just be completely Fantine and in the moment and give completely of myself over to her.
Monster of a man!
(Fantine crying) - Monsieur Le Maire, a monster?
- To be so free with two other actors that are absolutely amazing and just so giving as fellow actors in a scene, you know, you can only give of yourself to an extent in a scene if the other person is giving you something in return.
- I'll take care of you.
- You mean it?
So I felt really grateful that I had those scene partners but definitely nervous and anxiety ridden but super proud of it.
