- We've got the most incredible hair and makeup and costume departments.
- It looks amazing.
- You can look forward to amazing period sets and costumes.

- It's a real visual feast.
It's incredible how they've created massive epic scenes with these incredible gothic buildings and the river and bridges too which will be doubling as Paris.
- We have been shooting in locations that are absolutely right for the time and place Les Mis is set.
- We've gone to places that, hopefully, are of the period and allow us to work the location and push it into our Les Miserables world.
- I haven't been to a single location that isn't exquisite and beautiful and hopefully, that'll attract audiences beyond just the fact that it's a great piece of literature.
- Whenever you have the opportunity to not have to imagine so hard, but just be present that's always a good thing.
- It's been a real box of delights exploring Belgium and Northern France to mine these locations of Les Misérables and from the town of Sedan in Northern France which served as an extraordinary backdrop for medieval Paris through to an amazing 18th century inn which is the Thenardiers' inn, which was- we just walked in there and went well, this is amazing because it was the big fireplace corners over there, stairs going up there and it just had such atmosphere.

Looking at the old buildings and what they've done and how they've created the place that we all live in.
- I like working with costume designers who find the right kind of costume for the character's character to show emotion and mood and we've got it in spades here, it's brilliant.
