Season 2

Fashionable hats, pocket watches, and waistcoats galore! The cast reveal their favorite costumes (and accessories!) from Season 2.
- [Kate Phillips] If Eliza was alive today she'd definitely be the head of MI5.
I mean, she's gotta be right?
And then have her own personal hat range.
You know, that would be her thing on the side.
Beautiful hats somewhere in East London in like a cool shop.
- [Stuart Martin] I have to say my favorite piece of costume is his bowler hat.
Oh my goodness.
The first time I tried that on, I went, this is Duke.
When we started, they asked for my measurements.
I sent off my measurements, measured the head.
My child actually helped me with it, my three year old at the time.
Morning George And sent the measurements over.
And then when we arrived we tried the hat on and it was like this.
It was too small.
And I was like, "Oh my God, I'm so sorry.
Can you get another one?"
And they were like, it's been specifically made for your head, so never measure your own head.
Certainly not getting help off your three year old.
Pocket watches.
We should bring back pocket watches.
- Hettie, may I ask you be more economical with your conversation.
- Economical?
- Keep quiet.
- [Momirka Bailovic] She's a contrast to Eliza in a way.
She is not fashionable, but still she's cute.
She doesn't have bad taste.
Just different taste.
- This is our amazing hair and makeup team.
We've got Tina, the head of the department and we've got Elena, who actually looks after myself and makes me look like the princess you see before you.
Miss Scarlet.
- Detective Fitzroy.
New haircut?
Very smart.
- This isn't all my mustache.
I have tried very hard to grow everything.
Look at the clothes I'm wearing.
These were made by an amazing wardrobe.
- How much longer is this going to take?
- It will take as long as it takes.
Now, stand still.
- We have an entire team of seamstresses that have not stopped sewing since I arrived.
- We had two goals to make her look more serious in a way more, more professional and also to have variations of layers.
New costumes this year will be a progress in a way, because Scarlet did grow up.
And also trying to be more professional.
- How childish men are.
This waist coat.
This is awesome.
This is a whole new thing for Season 2.
It just means that, A: it gives me a bit more freedom to move, which is amazing, but it just, you see her in a slightly more relaxed position sometimes at home.
She wouldn't always be wearing a jacket but maybe it's too much just to see her in a shirt.
I'm just teasing you, William.
- Well don't, you know I don't like it.
- It's a simple piece of clothing that really makes a huge difference, I think.
- It has a kind of androgynous look too, which is kind of cool.
- Well, every, honestly, every new costume is like, "Oh this is my favorite."
But I actually, her dark blue waist coat with a jacket and skirt.
I love that one.
- Come on Moses.
We've work to do.
