Very high tension at the end of Series 2.
And we'll certainly take that into Series 3.
(uptempo rock guitar music) - It's a tough time for Ross and Demelza, but she does stick around, because she in some ways has forgiven Ross.
Whatever was there before, between Elizabeth and Ross, it's very much over.
- Elizabeth's biggest worry is, obviously, who the father of the child is.
She does have this big secret that she constantly needs to conceal.
- Now that Elizabeth's his wife, there's even more reason to be jealous.
There's just no way that him and Ross can leave each other alone.
- There's a certain amount of confusion, I suppose, and hurt.
And the not knowing, really, whether this child would be Ross's or not.
- Ross's betrayal by sleeping with Elizabeth leaves a scar that cannot be forgiven or forgotten.
But, Demelza manages to put it to one side and move on in a positive light, because she loves him.
- I shall make the most of what life has to offer.
- Including me?
- Especially you.
