(soft piano music) - Man, we're gonna miss Heida terribly.
- You know, a fantastic actress.
Just wonderful to work with, and we've had a lot of fun.
- Saying goodbye to Heida was so sad.
Elizabeth has been a huge part of Demelza's life.
Heida's been a huge part of mine.
She's become a brilliant friend.
- We've always got on so well, she's so funny.
Her humor is different, I think, than anyone else, certainly on set.
Sometimes than anyone else I've ever met.
She's great, she's super smart, funny, and beautiful.
She's played Elizabeth so well.
- I think what makes me the most sad is leaving her.
Cause I'm gonna see everybody else, but I'm not gonna be with her anymore.
- A very sad end, but it's been handled beautifully by her.
- Got very emotional writing those scenes.
- I think he's absolutely punctured and is left empty.
- I had Jack next to me and it's also me leaving.
So, you get a lot of stuff for free.
- I think Heida has just brought a wonderful, emotional truth to Elizabeth.
- She's just terrific.
I've never seen a character stronger, and I've seen her character grow.
- In different hands she could have been quite unsympathetic, especially alongside George.
- We'll be mates forever.
We've gone through something quite special.
I don't think any of us ever thought that this show would reach as many homes as it has, and touch as many people as it has.
And she's been an integral part of that.
She's loved and she'll be missed.
Thanks, Heida (gentle laughing).
