I know.
Beautiful.
Charlie Miller is an amalgam of various
alleged Southeast London criminals.
He ends up at the beginning of the second
series in possession of half the gold.
All through the first series you think
you're dealing with all the gold,
but actually there's another half
that Charlie Miller has kept for himself.
I'm a friend of a friend.
Baxter is a graduate of Cambridge.
He is a lawyer,
but offers his financial services
to launder money on the Isle of Man
because they're a bit more lax there.
He has very high opinions of himself.
In some ways,
quite rightly, he's very intelligent,
grammar school educated.
He calls himself the finest legal mind
of his generation,
whether or not that's 100% true.
Tony Lundy is a character
that is based on a real person.
He operates slightly
outside of the system.
He has his own contacts.
He has his own way of doing things
because he doesn't feel
that following protocol
is going to get him what he needs.
He's got a wry sense of humor.
He doesn't take anything too seriously
on the surface,
but actually he's incredibly focused
in getting his man.
Ambition is what is needed.
Logan has curated this external facade
of a very successful man,
and he is, for all intents and purposes,
but he doesn't feel that.
I think what surprises him is that I think
he'd be quite content on some level,
actually, for someone to put an end to it.
He knows deep down he wants it,
but he can't let it happen.
In that moment, actually,
I think he faces the reality
that he can finally trust
someone enough to tell them the truth.
