(bright music) (clapperboard claps) - You better buckle up, ladies.
- [Samantha] It really is very much like being part of a very happy family.
- Come on, bring it in.
Ow.
(all laughing) - We've been having a ball.
- We all know each other a bit better now, so the relationships between us have deepened.
- Their friendship is so solid now.
- Here we go.
- What?
- It's not Tanika.
- Oh.
- What?
- And they know each other so well that we give each other confidence to shine.
- We have some surprises for audiences in season three.
For some characters, you get to see a lot more of their personal life.
- Sam's character, due to her love life, takes a bit of a turn, which there've been little bubblings of that before.
- We also see Suzie in search of love.
- Well, well, well.
(chuckles) I wasn't expecting this.
- In terms of locations, we are in new places again, which has been brilliant.
The first story is around the Marlow Council Chamber.
We've got a murder in a sort of high-end farm-to-fork foraged restaurant on the river.
- There was one particular location that we used, and it was an enormous house that had lots of secret passageways and lots of taxidermy animals.
I think I found that the kind of spookiest.
- People of Marlow are so kind to us.
People talk to us in coffee shops and restaurants.
The vibe seems to be very positive about having us, and we know we sort of descend and take over Marlow for the summer.
- [Cara] It's a real testament to the show that we're able to attract these incredible actors to come and work with us.
- You're here to accuse me of murder again?
- And it keeps it really fresh for us regular cast, as well, to have people coming in that are bringing new energy.
This series continues to resonate with audiences because there's always a deep intrigue with whodunits.
And also exploring the idea that everybody's got a dark side.
- You have no idea what's coming, and I think that's always the most exciting thing.
(bright upbeat music)
