(piano music) - [Reporter] Police say they have now opened a new investigation, and urge anyone with any information surrounding Mr.
Walsh's disappearance to get in touch.
- They have not one single idea what doing this job does to a person, having to mop up the blood, and the tears, and the rage, and the despair on a daily basis.
I don't want to go back.
I actually have no choice.
(suspenseful music) - You okay?
- I'm just gonna do the job.
Why would someone keep a body for 30 years?
Where, how, and why did he die?
Was it an accident?
Was it manslaughter?
Was it murder?
Police officers might also be involved.
- [Man] I've got a detective here to talk to you in connection with a murder investigation.
(sirens ringing) - So we do this by the books, Sunny?
- I wouldn't have dreamt of doing it any other way, boss.
- I mean really, what's happened to you?
- Nothing's happened to me.
- You never told me the police had interviewed you.
I can't take the secrets and lies.
- I have to tell you who I really am.
- Well, I could tell you a thing or two that would make your hair turn gray.
- The job, it's stuff I'll tell you one day, but I have to see this case through now.
- [Man] You never know, do you, what someone's capable of?
- No.
- [Narrator] "Unforgotten", the new season on Masterpiece Mystery.
