- I'm Rose Ebbutt, I'm the costume designer on Victoria.
We have to look forward to a span of several years after the birth of Victoria's first daughter.
They say we go through the early years of the 1840s, which is a similar sort of fashion but I'm intensifying the colors.
We have some new characters.
We've got various balls and concerts.
All sorts of things to whet the appetite of the audience.
On some days we might have 100, 150 crowd.
All sorts of different things-- passers by on the street, military parades, people on a ship.
So all that is in here.
And I've got a big team who work just on that and then we also of course, have all our principles whose costumes are in another truck and then I have a team who work that as well.
In Buckingham Palace, the main footmen all wear Buckingham Palace livery and we used it so much last year.
It was all beginning to look a little bit tired so we've made some beautiful new palace livery.
It's exactly the same, in fact, it's still the same now.
It's still red with gold braid and it's been going for about nearly 200 years, I think this particular thing.
And we got a new footman over here just sitting, waiting to jump onto someone in the crowd whose going to then be standing in a corridor in Buckingham Palace.
