1. Grantchester – MASTERPIECE Favorite Is Back!

The crime-solving duo returns for their third season this summer. When we last left the sleepy village, Sidney faced a moral dilemma: be with the woman he loves, or take the moral high road. The vicar has never been a saint, but is this a step too far?

2. All-New MASTERPIECE: Origins of Prime Suspect‘s Jane Tennison

Behind every great detective is a backstory. In Prime Suspect: Tennison, MASTERPIECE dials back the clock to spotlight the influences that turned 22-year-old rookie policewoman Jane Tennison into the savvy, single-minded crime fighter beloved by Prime Suspect viewers over the course of seven seasons.

Starring Stefanie Martini (Doctor Thorne) in the iconic role immortalized by Helen Mirren, Prime Suspect: Tennison airs in three riveting 90-minute episodes, beginning Sunday, June 25th at 10/9c, on MASTERPIECE.

3. The Durrells in Corfu – The Adventure Continues

Grab your sunblock and sail to Corfu! The Durrells in Corfu will return for a second season on Sunday, October 15th, 2017 at 8/7c. Now BAFTA-Nominated for Best Drama Series, The Durrells in Corfu stars Keeley Hawes (Upstairs Downstairs) as an intrepid widow who decamps from dreary England to a sun-dappled Greek island with her gaggle of eccentric children. What hijinks will ensue in Season 2? Lizards? Livestock? We can only imagine!

4. Another All-New MASTERPIECE: My Mother and Other Strangers

This new series, set in Northern Ireland during WWII, follows the Coyne family as they struggle to maintain a normal life after a huge United States Army Air Force airfield, with 4,000 service men and women, lands in the middle of their rural parish. In each episode, smaller, compelling stories are held together by a developing relationship between Rose Coyne (Hattie Morahan, Sense & Sensibility) and a charming USAAF liaison officer, Captain Dreyfuss (Aaron Staton, Mad Men).

My Mother and Other Strangers airs in 5 episodes, and premieres Sunday, June 18 at 8/7c.

5. Endeavour & Thursday: Back on the Case

Shaun Evans and Roger Allam return as the iconic mystery-solving duo when Endeavour continues with Season 4, premiering Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 9/8c. In Season 4, it’s the summer of 1967, and the effects of the Cold War and sixties counterculture are being felt in Oxford. How will this changing landscape affect our favorite detectives? We’ll find out in 4 new episodes which promise to stump, thrill, and delight.
