The new season will feature an adaptation of best-selling author Robert Thorogood’s novel, Murder on the Marlow Belle, alongside brand-new original mysteries. Our crime-solving trio puts their unconventional methods into practice to catch the killers in three new stories.
The Marlow Murder Club Season 4 begins with the discovery of a body in the river that is soon linked to the Marlow Amateur Dramatics Society and a homegrown Hollywood star. The team must also unravel the truth behind a man's sudden death at his mother’s wake. He appears to have died from an allergic reaction, but is there more to it than that? And when the co-owner of a vineyard is found dead, drowned in his own wine, the women work to make sense of this seemingly unmotivated murder. Can the amateur sleuths navigate the family scandals and personal betrayals to unmask the killers in their close-knit community?
Jo Martin Teases The Marlow Murder Club Season 4
In an interview with MASTERPIECE, fresh off of filming Season 4, Jo Martin shared a few tidbits about what's ahead for Suzie in the new season.
“Suzie has a new job. She's still a dog walker. She's multitasking. Now there's a [new] job that she does in season four, and it's very sociable… she's picking up all the gossip. You get what I'm saying?”
“Judith has got her blossoming little romance with Darius, and now Suzie has this sort of blossoming thing with Brendan. There's a little something, it's a frisson. There's a little fire, little embers, should I say? It's not even a fire yet. Little embers of something that could or could not develop.”
Returning Cast in The Marlow Murder Club Season 4
The crime-solving community detective trio Samantha Bond (Judith Potts), Cara Horgan (Becks Starling), and Jo Martin (Suzie Harris) return in Season 4. Natalie Dew (DI Tanika Malik) and her police team, series regulars Holli Dempsey (Alice), Phill Langhorne (Brendan) and Tijan Sarr (Jason) also return for the new season.
