Q: Jessie

Hi Stephon,

Have you ever played any other instruments?
What is your favorite kind of pet?
What’s your favorite movie?

A: Stephon Alexander

Yes, I studied classical piano for five years prior to the sax.
I owned two dogs during my childhood.
My favorite movie is Rockers- a story about the birth of a form of Jamaican music.

Q: Linda

So…What is Psychic Energy?

A: Stephon Alexander

Hi Linda

I don’t know what psychic energy is. However, there are forms of energy that are still unkown in the universe that physicists referer to as “Dark Energy”.

Q: Myando46

I was wondering what actually exploded to start the big bang. It actually easier to believe in someone made all of this then nothing exploded to make all of this.

A: Stephon Alexander

Nice question. The big bang is actually a misnomer because there really was not any explosion. All we know about the big bang is that the energy, temperature and density was very high–and it is possible for these quantities to be really high without an explosion as long as the universe was in equilibrium. Some possibilities is that the universe actually did not start from an explosion but was eternally expanding and contracting, renewing itself from eon to eon. Cosmologists are currently doing research on this alternative theory.
