Clouds form

As the air is forced higher, it cools even more. When it reaches its dew point (the temperature at which air becomes saturated with water vapor), water molecules within the air start to condense, forming water droplets.

These droplets are visible as clouds. During the condensation process, the energy within the water vapor molecules is released into the air.
