Lièvre Creek
Along this jungle stream trickling into Chatham Bay lie dozens of boulders
carved with the names of visitors past: "His Brit Mag' Schr Les Deux-Amis, Sept
1797" reads one, "E. H. Fisher Jr. May 7, 1863" reads another. There are also
mysterious arrows, lines, and symbols etched in the stones—signposts
indicating the way to long-lost treasure?
