Dirty Rock
This barren outcropping half a mile offshore may look unappealing, but the deep waters beneath it harbor perhaps the highest concentration of schooling hammerheads at Cocos as well as giant manta rays and the occasional whale shark. There are also healthy corals and a jagged-sided canyon featuring vast schools of silver snappers.
