Manta Corner
Diving down 90 feet or so off Dampier Head, a rugged point named after the
17th-century adventurer William Dampier, you can often encounter manta rays,
whose bird-like gracefulness belies their enormous size (wingspans of ten feet
are not uncommon). Mantas here often accompany divers for the duration of a
dive.
