Isla Manuelita
Home to fairy terns and red-footed boobies, this islet offers two of the best dive spots at Cocos Island. Schooling hammerheads and jacks are the main attractions on the west side, while the calmer east side harbors sea turtles, the marvelously cryptic frogfish, and "cleaning stations," where hammerheads slow to allow king angelfish to approach and pick parasites off their bodies.
