Do You Know This Bird?

Use this illustration of a California condor to observe its features and make inferences about its behavior and habitat.

1. In the first column, make a list of your observations of the condor's physical features.

2. In the second column, make inferences about the animal's behavior and habits, based on your observations. Try to guess what its eating habits might be, where it might live, or what kind of resources it might depend on.

3. Keep your list with you as you watch the program "Shadow of the Condor." Look for information in the program that supports or refutes your inferences. Record the new information in the third column on your chart.
