Arctic Engineering
This program follows a crew of engineers and pilots as it tries to rescue a World War II bomber from the edge of a frozen lake in Greenland. During its mission, the crew faces challenges with its equipment, the weather, and extremely cold Arctic conditions. As you watch the program, make note of the crew's difficulties and the ways that the crew solves each problem. After watching the program, work with your group to think of new strategies that might have helped the crew.
