Dr. Demetre Daskalakis

Dr. Demetre Daskalakis is a former U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention official who publicly resigned from his post in August 2025 over concerns with Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s leadership at the agency. Dr. Daskalakis is now the Chief Medical Officer at Callen-Lorde Community Health Center in New York City.
