IT STARTED IN MY HOUSE, IN MY
BACKYARD.
MY WIFE AND I WHO IS ALSO A
CO-FOUNDER, WE HAVE THREE KIDS.
HANNAH, LUKE AND FIN.
OUR OLDEST, HANNAH, LOVES SPORTS
AND LOVES LACROSSE.
I THINK WHEN SHE ENTERED MIDDLE
SCHOOL IN THE SIXTH GRADE, IT
WAS REALLY PLAIN TO US THAT SHE
NO LONGER WANTED POINTERS FROM
MOM AND DAD ABOUT HOW SHE COULD
IMPROVE.

WE WERE NO LONGER COOL.
WE DECIDED TO SORT OF PIVOT.
WE ACTUALLY WENT INTO THE
COMMUNITY AND HIRED A LOCAL HIGH
SCHOOL GIRLS VARSITY PLAYER FROM
TOWN TO COME BY THE HOUSE ONCE,
TWICE A WEEK TO WORK WITH HANNAH
ON HER GAME AND MAYBE BRING HER
OUT IN TERMS OF HER PERSONALITY
AND IMPROVE HER CONFIDENCE.
ELIZA WHO IS KNOWN IN OUR
COMPANY AS THE ORIGINAL MENTOR
CAME OVER AND IT WAS MAGIC FROM
THE FIRST SESSION.
THE FIRST MINUTE OF THE FIRST
SESSION.
HANNAH ADORED HER.
LOOKED UP TO HER.
SHE WAS THE BIG SISTER SHE
DIDN'T HAVE.
HUNG ON EVERY WORD SHE HAD TO
SAY.
STARTED WEARING HER HAIR JUST

SHE REALLY DREW HER OUT.
HER CONFIDENCE SOARED.
HER LACROSSE GAME, WHICH WAS
QUITE STRONG, GOT EVEN BETTER.
THE RELATIONSHIP EVOLVED.
THEY STARTED DOING ART PROJECTS
TOGETHER.

SHE WAS HELPING HER WITH
HOMEWORK, STUDIES.
IT WAS JUST COMPLETE JOY TO
WATCH AS A PARENT.
MY WIFE AND I QUICKLY DECIDED WE
NEEDED TO GET MENTORS FOR OUR
SONS WHO HAD ECLECTIC INTEREST
IN GUITAR, SINGING, TECHNOLOGY.
WE QUICKLY FOUND SOME BOYS WHO
FIT THOSE BILLS.
THEY CAME IN TO MENTOR OUR BOYS
AND THE DYNAMIC WAS JUST LIKE IT
WAS FOR HANNAH.
WE KNEW RIGHT THERE AND THEN
THAT WE HAD SOMETHING REALLY
FORMED INTO A BUSINESS.
THAT'S AT THE CORE OF THE
COMPANY.
WE'RE ALL ABOUT CREATING THESE
WONDERFUL JOB OPPORTUNITIES FOR

KID IS SPECIAL.
THEIR RELATEABILITY IS A BIG
DIFFERENCE.
WE TAKE A HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLAR,
HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETE, MUSICIAN,
ARTIST AND WE MATCH THEM WITH A
CHILD THAT SHARES THAT PASSION.
THE SESSIONS INVOLVE ACADEMIC
SUPPORT BUT ALSO THINGS THEY
BOTH LOVE TO DO.
WHEN THEY ARE DOING THEM
TOGETHER THE ENGAGEMENT IS
DIFFERENT ANDs A RESULT THE
OUTCOMES ARE MUCH BETTER.

CURRICULUM AND CRAFT A GAME PLAN
THAT WILL HELP DRIVE THE RESOLVE
AND RETAIN THAT.
