Bryan Stevenson Addresses the History of Racial Violence in America

 

Attorney Bryan Stevenson, founder of the Equal Justice Initiative, has helped save numerous wrongly convicted prisoners from execution. He also is the founder of the National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Mongomery, Alabama. The “Just Mercy” author, reflecting on the ten-year anniversary of Trayvon Martin’s death, discusses the importance of confronting history and educating Americans about their legacy of slavery and racial violence.
