My parents were Catholic and strict parents. We went to church every Sunday. I grew up in the suburbs and went to public schools. My brother and I had chores to do every day and got an allowance. My mom stayed home with and my parents owned their own business. We built a cabin up north which became our permanent home, we moved to the country on a lake when I was 15 years old. There was a lot of hard physical work in building our house which I did a lot of. We cut wood for the winter, which I hated! We didn’t go on many vacations, maybe 6 or 7. We did go to Wisconsin quite a bit to visit relatives which was really fun! I started babysitting at 15 then got my first real job while a senior in high school. Went to college for 1+ years, moved out of state and unfortunately, never went back. I work in the mental health field full time (35 hrs) and I have a part-time job, too. For the most part I like my job, which is rewarding in so many ways!
