The tougher times felt really tough, but there was always a supportive network of family and friends, and adults who would have kept me from falling overboard. Married young, my wife and I developed our personal supportive system as we transitioned to adult independence. I’ve accomplished and reached higher, with some challenges, but certainly from a place taller than many others have been forced to stand.
