GREAT PERFORMANCES mourns the passing of James Earl Jones, known to many as the voice of Star Wars’ Darth Vadar and The Lion King’s Mufasa. A groundbreaking actor on both the stage and screen, James Earl Jones starred in two programs for GREAT PERFORMANCES – King Lear, recorded in 1974 from the Public Theater’s Shakespeare in the Park production, and Driving Miss Daisy, alongside Angela Lansbury in 2015.
