You have successfully analyzed this letter. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Abraham Lincoln wrote this letter October 19, 1860 to 11-year old Grace Bedell, in response to a letter she wrote him, asking him to grow a beard. In Grace\u2019s letter (written October 15, 1860, she told Lincoln that he should grow a beard. She wrote, \u201cI have got 4 brother\u2019s [sic] and part of them will vote for you any way and if you will let your whiskers grow I will try and get the rest of them to vote for you you would look a great deal better for your face is so thin.
