Music recordings by 20th century classical music stars\u00a0Bronislaw Huberman and Arturo Toscanini and his NBC Orchestra are heard in Orchestra of Exiles,<\/em> a documentary about their fight against Fascism and struggle to found Israel’s first orchestra with the Palestine Symphony Orchestra. The film’s music bibliography also includes today’s contemporary stars such as violinist Joshua Bell<\/a>, who plays the very same Stradivarius that Huberman once did. Huberman’s Stradivarius violin<\/a> was stolen from his dressing room in Carnegie Hall in 1936. It remained lost for 50 years until the late thief’s wife presented it for auction. The film also includes music by pianist Jeremy Denk, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, and even musicians performing the work of Philip Glass.<\/p>\n
