The Ants & the Grasshopper: The Series | Trailer
Climate change is real and urgent. Are Americans willing to listen to the concerns of those most affected? Although they account for less than 3% of global greenhouse gas emissions, African countries like Malawi are expected to suffer devastating hardships from climate change: drought, crop failure, food shortage, and water scarcity.
“The Ants & the Grasshopper: The Series” follows Anita Chitaya, a farmer, activist, and community leader from Malawi, as she embarks on a mission to raise awareness about climate change in the United States.
This is the trailer for the five-part “The Ants & the Grasshopper: The Series,” a co-production of Kartemquin Educational Films and Peril and Promise, a public media initiative from The WNET Group.
