Permitting Reform: The Bipartisan Climate Issue of 2023

Permitting reform – the term referring to cutting down the time it takes for clean energy projects to get approved – may be the hot topic of the summer, with both Republican and Democratic legislators putting forth proposals.

Politicians on both sides appear interested in finding a plan that dramatically speeds up the process of clean energy implementation, without sacrificing environmental protection or public input.
