Voices for Change: Democracy and Climate Action

Preserving Democracy is challenging people to share with us how they’re #ReadyToVote2024. We’re also collaborating with the Human Impacts Institute and looking at how democracy and the issue of climate change are intertwined.

Voices for Change: Democracy and Climate Action is a multi-part digital series, hosted by The WNET Group’s Hari Sreenivasan, aimed at showcasing the crucial connection between democracy and effective climate action through a variety of personal perspectives. The conversations with climate change leaders offer inspiring and diverse ways to preserve democracy in relation to climate, culture and community. They also recognize how a healthy democracy is essential for addressing the climate crisis and protecting our communities and cultures.

Voices for Change is a multimedia collaboration between the Human Impacts Institute and The WNET Group’s Preserving Democracy public media initiative. Series artwork provided by the Human Impacts Institute. Major funding for Preserving Democracy’s #ReadyToVote2024 campaign is provided by Carnegie Corporation of New York.
