Each project is developed in partnership with local community leaders. He and a group of volunteers restored the empty lots around <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marthasplace.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Martha\u2019s Place<\/a>, a center for women recovering from drug addiction.<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding-bottom: 56.25%;height: 0\">\n<iframe id='partnerPlayer' frameborder='0' marginwidth='0' marginheight='0' scrolling='no' width='100%' height='100%' src='http:\/\/video.pbs.org\/partnerplayer\/aCYCtfvR4UyywmD4GGS7ug%3D%3D\/?autoplay=false&amp;start=0&amp;end=0&amp;chapterbar=false&amp;topbar=false&amp;endscreen=true'><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<p>In an alleyway behind <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazinggracelutheran.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Amazing Grace Lutheran Church<\/a> in East Baltimore, the rubble from once abandoned row houses has become a prayer labyrinth and community garden.
