I have been a baseball fan since I was a child. The Big Red Machine (Cincinnati Reds) were the team that turned me on to baseball. I grew up near Los Angeles, so I attended many Dodger / Reds games in the '70s. What a great rivalry they were. I also got to see the Dodgers of the '80's and witness "Fernando Mania". I moved to the NW in 1990 and grew to love, what now I now call my adult team, the Mariners. It was a thrill to see a city fall in love with baseball in '95, but nothing compares to the magical season of 2001.
