Diversity & Inclusion

Our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) is exhibited by the dedication to DEI from every leader, department, and team who helps accomplish our DEI mission.

PBS knows that a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment is everyone’s responsibility. Our holistic approach to DEI acknowledges the value of the business case but also realizes DEI’s importance to our purpose to serve something greater than ourselves, creating a “community of care.” Seeing, honoring, bonding, developing, appreciating, leading, and trusting are all tenets of PBS’s DEI Strategy, based on our core values: Living the Mission, Valuing the Team, Leading by Example, and Embracing Possibility.

We Are Committed to DEI

PBS is committed to attracting and retaining staff of various backgrounds at all levels of the organization and seeks to work with producers and other service providers that strive to do the same. These efforts enable PBS to reach our diverse audience with relevant and impactful content and position us to compete more effectively in the ever-expanding global media landscape.
