As we all know, Cal Ripken Jr. had many, many batting stances. I think he had a different batting stance for each game, or something like that. Ichiro is the exact opposite. I've had the honor of seeing him play in the Majors since the beginning. He has the same exact batting stance, and he does the same stretches in the on deck and in the outfield. He is never standing still. I don't think there is anyone in baseball that turns themselves into a little ball right before they step into the batter box.
