Jean Paul Bertaud is a Professor Emeritus of History at La Sorbonne in Paris, and a specialist on the French Revolution and military history.

Carrington

Dorothy Carrington is a fellow of the Royal Historical Society and the Royal Society of Literature. She is the author of Napoleon and His Parents; On The Threshold of History.

Castelot

Andre Castelot is a retired journalist and author, currently working at the French historical research center Plon.

 

Dr. David Chandler, retired, was formerly the Deputy Head of the Department of War Studies at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He is the author of 10 books on the Napoleonic era.

Chevallier

Bernard Chevallier is the chief curator at the Musee National des Chateaux de Malmaison Bois-Preau, and an authority on the life of Josephine Beauharnais.

Colonel John Robert Elting is the author of Swords Around the Throne and co-author of A Military History and Atlas of the Napoleonic Wars, and a former Associate Professor at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Napoleon is dedicated in part to Colonel Elting, who died before the film was completed.

Michel Keratraut is a Professor at the Ecole des Haures Etudes in France, and is the author of La France Napoléonienne: Aspects Extérieurs.

 

Dr. Harold Parker is a specialist in Napoleonic military and administrative history. He was a Professor of Intellectual History and Eighteenth Century French studies at Duke University, and the author of several works on Napoleonic battles.

Sokholov

Oleg Sokholov is a Professor of History at the University of St. Petersburg, and a specialist on Russian battles.

Tuland

Jean Tulard is a Professor at La Sorbonne in Paris, where he is a Napoleon specialist. He is author of Napoleon, The Myth of the Savior.

Woloch

Professor Isser Woloch is a specialist on the French Revolution and Empire, and the Moore Collegiate Professor of History at Columbia University. He is author of The New Regime: Transformations of the French Civic Order, 1789-1820's.
