Andre Castelot is a retired journalist and author, currently working at the French historical research center Plon.


Dr. David Chandler, retired, was formerly the Deputy Head of the Department of War Studies at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He is the author of 10 books on the Napoleonic era.

Napoleon is dedicated in part to Colonel Elting, who died before the film was completed.

Professor Isser Woloch is a specialist on the French Revolution and Empire, and the Moore Collegiate Professor of History at Columbia University. He is author of The New Regime: Transformations of the French Civic Order, 1789-1820's.
