The following results are based on 1,100 completed telephone interviews among a random sample of adults living in the continental United States. The interviews were conducted June 20 through 24, 2003. The theoretical margin of error for the total sample is plus or minus 3 percentage points, 95% of the time, on questions where opinion is evenly split.
