Abel Salam al-Helou, barber, 45; has seven children
I’m not really for either party, but I voted for Hamas. We have to try change. We tried Fatah, and now we should try Hamas. Fatah didn’t do anything for us when they were in power. They didn’t bring us jobs. They didn’t give me a job, even though I applied for one. The international community has to give Hamas a chance. We hope there will be a total withdrawal of Israel from Palestinian lands. I want peace, but a fair peace. However, I wouldn’t go back to my family’s home in the village of Kufakha, never Bersheeva. I don’t know anything there.
