With composer Jonathan Chenette, the Blanden Art Museum and Fort Dodge Area Symphony are producing Iowa Impressions: A Celebration of the Arts in Rural America. Chenette said: "My central goal in this project is to hear the resonances of the land and people and reflect them through my music." In workshops and visits with students and families, he will continue to work with the Blanden to contribute to the vibrancy of life in rural Iowa, extending the themes of Continental Harmony beyond the commissioned work's October 15, 2000, premiere.
