Cotton is one of Continental Harmony's most rural communities. In a year-long project guided by regional artists and the composer, children explored their community and ecosystem. The result: Tyler Kaiser's Cotton Cantata, performed by the school choir, band, and children using instruments they made from materials found in the surrounding forest and with texts developed from conversations with residents.
