Spiritscapes, composed by Bruce Roter for the Sioux Falls Municipal Band and Sioux Falls Master Singers, reflects the landscape and spirit of South Dakota. The piece begins, "We gather to celebrate the land," and travels through mountains, prairies, and fields. The 23rd Psalm, sung in Dakota, reflects the state's native and sacred heritage. In the stirring finale, we are called home to the blessings of South Dakota "to know the grace and glory of this land."
