Middlebury College celebrates its bicentennial with the premiere performance of a commissioned choral work, Reflections of the Sky, by alumnus Peter Hamlin ('73). The performance combines the talents of the Middlebury College and Chamber Choirs, the Middlebury Community Chorus, the Harlem Spiritual Ensemble, and organist Emory Fanning, conducted by François Clemmons and Jeffrey Rehbach. Reflections of the Sky incorporates poems by Middlebury writers Julia Alvarez, Robert Pack, and Jay Parini.
