Western Alaska Fly throughs This series of maps shows the expedition route and selected stopping points. Topographic data is from the U.S. Geological Survey, Department of the Interior; bathymetric data is from the National Geophysical Data Center, NOAA. This locator map shows the areas in Western Alaska where the 3 fly throughs below take place: Kodiak, Dutch Harbor and Port Clarence. Fly through of South Central/Gulf Coast Region, Kodiak In the fly through of the South Central/Gulf Coast Region you start about 15 miles east of Kodiak, Alaska and slowly head south into remote Kizhuyak Bay.
