Hopes On The Horizon HomepageSouth African students plan for change at Aha Thuto

HOPES ON THE HORIZON is a production of Blackside Inc., who is solely responsible for its content. The film was produced in association with African filmmakers from Nigeria, Togo, and the United Kingdom. Meet the film production team.

Community outreach activities, educational print materials, and online resources were developed by Blackside’s publishing and new media department, in conjunction with Invent Media Corp. The radio programs were produced in partnership with Ubuntu TV and Film Productions’ radio team in South Africa. Advisors for the project include internationally recognized activists, scholars, and educators.

Funding for HOPES ON THE HORIZON has been provided by the Ford Foundation and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
